We have expressed our philosophy behind Re-Sourceful™ and its aims in these Ten Commitments.
1. Fair Play
We will only supply products that we know have been made in conditions where workers are treated well and given fair wages.
2. Small is beautiful
We will always endeavour to support small business and independent artisans.
3. Minimum effort
We would like to see a reduction in the amount of waste produced through promotional materials. We will find solutions that use the least materials, the least resources and the least pollutants.
4. Recycle
We will support recycling initiatives by sourcing and supplying objects made from recycled materials.
5. Achieve more with less
We will re-use things to create new products.
6. Make it last
We don’t buy into the throw away culture. We think that the sign of a good product is one that lasts. That is why we will source products that can be used over and over again.
7. Keep it simple
We believe that less is more and will always try to find the simple solutions to problems.
8. No soapboxes
We want to inspire and encourage people to change their buying habits with our ideas. We will leave the preaching to others.
9. Have fun
